Sparks, Fireworks and Such...

Looking to catch a few shots of the fireworks this New Year's!

Here are a few tips to help you in your quest:

Tips from Dennis True of Dennis True Photography:

M mode

• ISO 100
• f 7.1
• Bulb mode

*Tripod is a must.

*Press to start and hold until done (usually around 3 seconds. 

You can set the shutter to 3 seconds if you don't have a remote.
 


If you want longer trails use longer shutter time etc... 

I try to time it so I start just as a burst goes off and go 

through the next one following it up as in the picture above.
