Tips for Better Phone Pictures      My blog for the 10th of this month will be on getting better pictures with your phone. I was reading a blog from MPIX and I thought it was so insightful. There are so many times I am stuck without my camera and find that perfect Kodak moment. What is one to do at this point? Well, most of us pull out our handy, dandy smart phones.  You can read the blog from MPIX by clicking  HERE . Here are more tips for better pictures with your phone: 1. Be a Ninja. When kids see a camera they either shy away or head straight for your camera. If you pull out your phone and just snap away while they are not paying attention, you will get beautiful lifestyle type pictures. I experimented with this just the other day. Today's blog is brought to you by the 10 on 10 challenge.  Happy New Year!!!!! I hope everyone had a great Christmas and New Year! There are lots of great things ahead for us in 2014! This year, as a family project, my 2 daughters and I are doing the Picture a day challenge for 365 Days. I thought I'd share a few with everyone. It's a great opportunity to interact with your kids when you aren't sure what you have in common. It's like an ice breaker of sorts. The preteen/ teenage years can be hard on a mom or dad. Parents just don't understand, parents are so lame, blah, blah, blah.... Well, sharing pictures everyday is not lame in this household. The girls love it so far! It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas!      Everywhere you look families are aglow in their holiday portraits. Their cards this year are sure to be  beautiful.  I recently held Christmas Mini Sessions. The backdrop turned out beautiful. The kiddos and their Moms & Dads all looked Wonderful.  We had Angels: We had beautiful babies:    We had handsome young men: Beautiful Young Ladies: And we had a few that just wasn't feeling it that day. LOL! Aren't they the cutest though? I shot my first Gender reveal recently. I'm so excited for this happy couple and wish them the best on their 2nd blessing. Congrats to big brother also! My youngest Daughter turned 12 just recently. Where does the time go? We celebrated with manis and pedis and ice cream and cake! I had a blast doing Fall mini sessions! I think the kids enjoyed the setup. I've also been busy catching special birthday moments! I just adore birthday sessions. They can be so much fun. I had a Senior Session recently. What wonderful weather for a Senior shoot I must say! What can possibly be better than a Fall Wedding?? Tyra and Casey make a beautiful couple! Congrats!
